(Quigon) Ginger:
Another cockroach moment is in GoF (p.579 US paperback)
Harry was trying to get to Dumbledore's office, but didn't know the
password. He guessed Sherbet Lemon, several "normal" Wizarding
sweets, and, in desperation, guessed Cockroach Cluster, which turned
out to be right.
If we go back to the reason he was trying to see Dumbledore,
(starting p.575) it was due to a dream. He was in Trelawny's class,
viewing the solar system encased in a *glass dome*, when he had a
vision (prophetic, not as to the future, but as to seeing things
outside of his physical vision) of LV torturing Wormtail due to his
blunder, (letting Crouch, Sr. escape).
I don't know if this adds anything to the cockroach theory, but I
thought I'd bring it up.
(Quigon) Ginger, who wonders if Crouch and cockroach are spelled
closely for a reason.
