Perhaps as Purebloods there are times they are in the same social
setting. And it does appear that wizards have the elves with them
away from home. House-elves must have some way of getting together
or there wouldn't be any baby house-elves.

It was this last reading of the series that made me realize I had
the wrong opinion of Arthur Weasley. I thought he was a low paid
civil servant, that is an employee of the government.

But in OoP there is reference to Arthur's Muggle related laws being
passed. Gran comments favorably on the Weasley family. In CoS,
Dumbledore refers to the Weasley as one of the most prominent
families. And he does seem to know quite a few people. Someone said
it was his Muggle opinions which kept him from being promoted. I
wonder if Lucius has a role there?

I'd like to know the history between Weasley and Malfoy. I think
Arthur and Lucius know each other very well. And with the ferret,
weasel and otter images that come up, I'll bet they're cousins.

Some come up with ESE theories, I come up with cousins ;-)
