Geoff:
I have to admit that the church family involved is a very literate 
one and also very close and they get involved in family discussions 
over things such as books. As an example, I and their oldest boy (who 
is 13) have had long discussions on LOTR and The Silmarillion which 
have been quite deep and involved.
