Now that I think of it I am amazed that JKR allowed them to change the
name of the first book from the Philosopher's Stone to the Sorcerer's
Stone. It's kind of like changing "Holy Grail" to "fancy cup".

I think Gina meant Hermes, Percy's "handsome screech owl," who is now
with Percy and ergo can't possibly be Dumbledore. As someone else
noted, if DD is an animagus, he would probably have the form suggested
by his name, a bumblebee. But I really hope we don't have yet another
animagus. . . .
