I've thought this often--I can't wait to see Ron get an 'Outstanding' on his Divination 
OWL...

As for the rest of it, well, I agree with what others have said: Ron's a good friend, a good 
chess player, and the one of the Trio who's led not by his emotions (like Harry) or by his 
rationalization (like Hermione) but by well-grounded impulses tempered by loyalty.
