There are certainly lots of ways living arrangements would work in 
this setting. Even if the Heads had quarters in the castle and a  
house nearby where the family lived.  (Not unlike the US Navy)

 :-)The twins comes from a joke (At least I took it to be a joke, one 
never knows.) that JKR made concerning Snape.  He's up at night 
because he has twins that keep him awake or he's grumpy for that 
reason...I don't remember the actual phrase.

Boy, responding to a post I was in earlier is like having a time 
turner!  I was confused as to when I said what!!!!

Potioncat who's glad her kids can't do magical things to her now in 
their terrible teens and wishes she hadn't snipped the line that made 
her think that :-)
