I can understand that, but you see, the thing that really bothers me 
in OoP is that Harry *does* get over that mistrust with Petunia, but 
*not* with Sirius barely a few days later ! I would have expected 
the opposite, that he would ask questions of people he trusts and 
not bother asking questions of people he's known forever he can't 
get answers from. But this reverse way really bothers me. He goes 
straight against what's been ingrained in him during his whole 
childhood and asks questions to Petunia, repeatedly, over several 
days, and even though he doesn't get any answers, but he doesn't ask 
any question to someone he's trusted for 2 years and who's made it 
crystal clear just a few days earlier that he was ready to answer 
*any* question, even if DD said no. How logical is that ?
