Siriusly Snapey Susan [with very triumphant grin on her face!]:
AHA!! I had seen the portion of this JKR response which
begins "However, everyone should keep their eye on Snape" many times
before...but I had forgotten the part where JKR herself says "Snape
is a very sadistic teacher" and "...teachers do sometimes abuse their
power and this particular teacher [SNAPE] does abuse his power."
Does anybody besides me remember the discussion a month or so ago
about Snape & his teaching methods??? I feel vindicated! Erm,
please don't bring up my unfortunate "grade abuse" phrase, though--
just vindicated in the idea that he *is* abusive to his students. ;-)
