When Hagrid brought baby Harry to Little Whinging, Surrey, from
Godric's Hollow, he mentioned that Harry fell asleep over Bristol.  By
extending a line between Surrey and Bristol the line extends into
Wales, depending, I suppose, on where in Surrey "Little Whinging" is.
 I never looked at it myself.

People also cite that the Sorting Hat's song once said Godric
Gryffindor was "from fen," which was taken to suggest Wales.
