Carol:
I agree with you that Molly won't do anything terrible and that Percy
is an enigma (but not more than Snape :-) ). I think, though, that's
it more like that Percy will die saving Molly than the other way
around. He's the one in need of forgiveness and redemption, and what
better way to earn them than by sacrificing himself to save his
mother--the only member of his family who never stopped loving him,
the only one who doesn't need to forgive him because she never blamed
him for his choices, however much they grieved her? If a Weasley has
to die, why not make it Percy doing something brave and good?

Carol, who thinks that a little understanding and appreciation from
his father and brothers might have kept Percy from straying onto the
wrong path in the first place
