My reply:  I think you are right that Dumbledore keeps her around mainly because she is available for prophecy.  You never know when she might be able to come up with another one.  
 
However, I do wonder what good Sybll being upducted would be for the plot.  I mean there is a part to where I must wonder, why would I even give a care in the world?  Honestly I can't imagine why I would care whether or not Trelawney is abducted.  I think that it would be almost silly.  The deaths up till now have invested some emotional value in them.  I mean even Cedric, I wasn't extremely upset but I mean Cedric was a very cool character and I mean I was sorry to see him go.  While I think that Sybll is very important to the plot and will be in the future.  If the next two books focus on her I think I may stop reading.  If that is the big death, betrayal, or what not then I can't see it mattering much.
