Bobby: I have seen that preview, and Hermione and Ron are 
not "holding hands" — Hermione grabs Ron's hand when something 
scared her and then they let go when they look at each other.  In 
the POA book, Hermione grabbed Harry's arm at least three times (I 
wasn't looking for that so there may be more) in such situations.  I 
can't see how we can take that to be a clue as to what is going to 
happen in the books with regard to relationships.  In that A & E 
Biography of JKR that reran last weekend, she said she was 
apprehensive on opening night as to how the first movie would come 
out and was relieved at seeing that the movie people hadn't changed 
too much.  That sounds like she has little or no control over the 
content of the movie.  If so, I don't think we can look to the 
movies at all for clues as to what JKR is going to do.

The movie people may have their own ideas on relationships, but all 
in all I'm beginning to think any resemblance between the movies and 
the books is purely coincidental.
