I do think she will be back for book 7, for several reasons. Like I
already said, I think she will make a third prophecy, and having the
next prophecy already in book 6 would seem a bit early. I am sure,
and I really, I am, that the climax of book 7 will take place at
Hogwarts, the finale battle. My guess is that old Albus won't survive
the sixth book and that after his death Voldemort will risk to attack
the castle. Maybe Trelawney will predict the attack, giving everybody
a chance to prepare themselves. And yes, I think then she's in
danger. Voldemort first aim is Harry, and I think he prefers
Trelawney, so that he can kidnap her, hoping, she will make more
prophecys. But if there will be a big battle, then everything is
possible. She can be hit by an AK that is meant for somebody else,
for example. In fact, I think it's likely she won't make it, because
it would be sort of poetical justice, because she predicted Harry's
death that often, and because having a seer alive would be sort of an
open-end, and I think JKR will prefer closure.

What if Voldemort murders Trelawney, and Luna makes the third
prediction? HAHA
