Arthur and Molly -- How old are they?

The general but far from universal concensus is that they are older
than Hagrid, but younger than McGonagall. That would make them early 70's.

The HP Lexicon puts McGonagall's date of birth at 1922. That would
make her 73 in 1995. And it indicates she started Hogwarts in 1933.

Hagrid on the other hand is estimated to have been born in 1929(or
1928; we don't know his actual birthday.). In the 1992/1993 (CoS)
school year, Hagrid was 63 years old (expelled at 13 + at Hogwarts for
50 year (13+50=63)). That would make Hagrid about 65 in 1995.

Best speculation is that Molly and Arthur are somewhere in between
these two. Molly indicates she knew the gamekeeper before Hagrid, but
doesn't seem overly friendly with or knowledgable about McGonagall.

This has been the subject of a great deal of discussion and
controversy, but I think a small majority will agree with my assessment.
