Now, counting that way, it's not the seventh month, and this isn't
meant to be snide at all (I can't figure out how to type this in a way
that doesn't sound mean) but how are you counting? If you actually
have a way that makes september the seventh, I'm totally up for it!
(Though I'll still think Harry's the one, as cool as Hermione is)

Well...linguistically it is not wrong. September comes from the latin Septem, which actually means Seven. So Hermione's birthday in some way can be said that is on the seventh month.
