Forgive me if this has already been discussed but...
For a lack of a social life I was re-reading SS and a thought/
question occured to me: Snape suspects Quirell of trying to get at
the Sorcerer's Stone and keeps confronting him late at night in the
halls and forest about it. As we come to find out, you-know-who has
taken up residence under the turban and is controlling Quirell. Now,
skip ahead to OOP, if Snape really is spying for The Order again,
wouldn't Voldemort remember Snape's part in trying to stop him from
getting ahold of the Stone? Wouldn't he know that Snape's loyalty
lies with Dumbledore? and therefore want Snape disposed of? Surely,
Quirell being destroyed didn't erase V's memory as well?
I'd love any thoughts that anyone cares to share.
Thanks, -NearlyheadlessRyan
