I've always thought that Ron's accountant comment had more to do with squibs 
than muggles it was made, afterall, in reply a question Harry had asked about 
Squibs.  

Maybe a Squib Weasley cousin realised that he'd be able to make a better life 
for himself in the Muggle world as an accountant than he'd ever be able to do 
in the WW.  Where squibs would be very low on the totem pole.
