If he gets thrown out of the Ministry in the wake of the Fudge fiasco, and 
has too much pride or too little sense to either go back to his family or 
get another job (preferably both), he may think he might as well try an 
"alternative lifestyle."  I'd like to believe he wouldn't sink as low as 
working for Voldemort *knowingly* -- but my opinion of him has been at rock 
bottom ever since he failed to get in touch with any member of his family 
during the time when his father might have been dying.
