This is where Hermione goes from telling the truth to desperation to 
save Sirius. Just in case that his actions in the 3rd year boys dorm 
and to the Fat Lady were damning on their own, or might prevent 
acceptance of the true 'Peter story', hey... make him look even more 
innocent than he is! :)
