I won't comment on Hermione's "foolhardiness," since I think she's 
got a good head on her shoulders, except when she's working herself 
to death or emotionally panicking, but I read this little editorial 
at Mugglenet:

It's about Hermione being under the Imperius curse in OotP. I 
personally think that in each spot, she's reflecting on something she 
heard, or formulating a theory based on what's just developed, or 
just getting emotional...

What does everyone think?
