The main problem I can see with this interpretation is that you
identify "the other" as Peter in the phrase "hand of the other" but
then you identify either Harry or Voldemort as "the other" whose
survival threatens the life of...Harry or Voldemort.  I know it's
possible grammatically that there are two different "others"
referenced here, but I tend to doubt that.

Then again, I'm not much good at interpreting prophecies myself, so
don't take this too seriously!
