Also, it could be as simple as: as long as one of them remains alive, 
the other will never know peace because they will forever be looking 
over their shoulder to see if the other is near. 

It could also mean that in order for Harry to come out of the 
nightmare he's in, it will be necessary to defeat the "Voltemort" 
within.
