I've read this theory before, but I always had this little problem
with it. Why would Lily put an anti-Dursley spell on Harry? He was
supposed to go live with his godfather and Guardian, Sirius Black,
who, while probably an immature father would certainly have been a
doting one (he is a doting godfather, inasmuch as his situation and
the world he lives in consent him to be). Are you suggesting Lily
knew Sirius would end up in Azkaban and Harry would have to live
with the Dursleys? If so, how did she come by that knowledge?
