Geoff:
I have always said I want to see Harry survive. However, if you look
at Frodo's case in the Lord of the Rings, he came back to Middle-
Earth after the fall of Sauron and in fact remained at Bag End for
just under two years. So he was able to spend time with his friends
and see the way things were developing before he made the decision
that he would be better off in mind and body by taking up Arwen's
gift and sailing West to Valinor.
I think I could live fairly happily with a scenario like that. I know
that in many books and especially in modern real life, deaths happen
abruptly but I would like to see a post-Voldemort Harry at least
living for a time without that damned prophecy hanging over him and,
if possible, for a bit longer than that....
