Josh, I didn't mean that Neville couldn't hear the voices behind the 
veil, I was trying to point out (not too articulately it would seem, 
lol) that Neville obviously wasn't close enough to hear them. 

I do have to wonder what was so entrancing about the veil in the 
first place, or to go further why were they entranced by death at 
all.
