I'm not saying it's NOT him, but I don't know....  Is JKR's ex 
remarried?  Because [oh, no, here she goes] I'm positive I read/heard 
JKR say that this Mr. X's *wife* told her she suspected GL was based 
on her husband.  In other words, even his wife recognized him but 
that he himself is so puffed up that he never would.

Did I make this up??
