There definitely is such a thing as yellow diamonds. I watched Gigi 
last night, and during her jewelry lesson her great-aunt, when Gigi 
mistakes a yellow diamond for a topaz, says "A topaz, among my 
jewelry? Are you mad?". I always thought topaz are less expensive 
than the other gems, which would fit humble Hupplepuffs to a T (can 
someone verify this?).
