Well, while I'm not sure Percy is a spy, I don't think he'd become
useless just because the MOM is now on the order side (which I'm not
entirely sure of, either). He could still spy on all (un)suspected DE
and DE sympathizers, for example. I doubt all LV supporters have been
outed (was McNair present in the MOM raid? I can't remember). He
could voice some purebloodist theories or something; I bet LV
supporters would try to recruit him and they'd be found out.
And I think DD has doubts about the MOM. He'd do well to have a spy
there to keep an eye on things. Percy would be in a wonderful
position for this.
Romulus Lupin, who's starting to defend theories he doesn't believe
