Hmmm...in Greek mythology - whence springs the noble centaur - there is no 
such thing as a female centaur.  Centaurs reproduced by kidnapping human 
women...  Given Umbridge's feelings about half-breeds, couldn't think of a worse 
punishment for her (at least, from HER point of view).
