First . . . I'm laughing at "co-apparate"--what a great word!
Second . . . I had forgotten about Voldemort's departure with
Bellatrix. (On this most recent re-read of the series, I'm only at
about page 250 in OotP, so haven't gotten there yet!) If I remember
correctly, she's more or less unconscious, so I'm guessing that she's
not helping much there.
It's pretty well determined, though, that Voldemort IS particulaly
skilled in wizardry. I mean, he's evil and heartless and all-around
not a nice guy but he DOES have skill with a wand! He may well be
capable of apparating with someone else (and Dumbledore probably
could, too, if he hadn't needed to settle Fudge at the MOM), but that
doesn't mean your average witch-on-the-street would be able to.
