Are you referring to the line about the cauldrons "falling off the back
of a broom"? If so, I wish to point out that this statement probably
wasn't meant to be taken literally. Stolen merchandise is often
described as having fallen off the back of a truck, which in fact means
that the merchandise was stolen from the truck.
