you cared for deeply who had just undergone the loss that Lupin had, 
would you let him into a place swarming with Dementors?)




Tina here again:
A better question might be - why didn't DD visit Sirius?  He was the 
one to initiate the Secret Keeper set up.  If it went badly wrong, 
wasn't he obligated to figure out what happened?  He has the clout 
to go to Azkaban if anyone does, I would think.  I guess we're back 
to DD the puppetmaster.
