Yes! I've mentioned before that the best way to time travel would be 
to alter your appearance so that there would be no need to worry 
about whether you where going to bump into yourself or not (or bump 
into someone else that might recognize you).

I really like your idea about the watch!!!! That thought is original, 
and something no one else has thought of. I think you might be 
right!!! :)
