Well, Peter Pettigrew was in Gryffindor too. :( I think Sir Nicholas
probably is brave and just had a moment of weakness. Let us hope his 
moment
of weakness didn't lead him to become a traitor, as it did Peter.

I had taken into account Peter but
big but
he isn't dead yet! We may 
not know or realize to what extent his inner-Gryffindor has been 
seen.
