The point is, of course, that Sirius was not trying to
harm Harry but was acting in self-defence. [Talking

Although Harry does not realise it, Sirius is doing
this to try to
stop Harry's frenzied attack and protect himself.
Does the protective magic have, so to speak, some
innate ability to sense that the attack is not an
attempt on Harry's life?
Juli: But Harry wasn't at Priver Drive, we know that
nobody can harm him while he's at his aunt's house, so
I guess his protection doesn't work elsewhere, I mean,
he's been harm many times before.
