Tammy adds: 
Dumbledore says that as long as Harry "still call(s) home the place
where your mother's blood dwells" he cannot be harmed by LV. It sounds
like he's protected everywhere as long as he still returns to Privet
Drive for a short time during the summer. But, it also sounds like
he's only protected from LV, not from everyone.
