Good question.
The whole subject of repetitive globes/orbs in the books was given 
more attention after an off-site exchange with Lyn Mangiameli; he 
thought it needed bringing up so I did (109868). And yes, Lupin's 
Boggart did get a passing mention in this respect last month. 

But so far it's just a nice, neat little theory. Proving it is gonna be
something else again.
