But, on the other hand, Hermione is notorious for beavering away to 
make sure she's got her facts right.

I think she would be likely to go off to try to confirm anything told 
her under the umbrella of "I think I'm right in saying that...."

I'll sit on the fence on this one, chaps and chapesses.
