Now Cory:

My understanding of Umbridge's ban was that he is banned from playing 
Quidditch *at Hogwarts*.  I don't think she had the authority to stop 
him from ever playing again, anywhere in the world.  Thus, if he were 
drafted to a pro team, I think he could play.
