I know you don't. :-) And you'll note that I included in my post on 
this matter that I recognize there are posters who've said they 
believe he wouldn't have spoken up.  I just don't see it that way, 
that's all.  I think it would've been more "human nature" to have 
pointed out the attempt than to have stood silent, IF an honest 
effort to bring Voldy back had actually been made.

And MY hope would be that someone would flat out ask, "Was Lucius 
actually trying to bring Voldemort back with the diary scheme, or 
was he up to something else?"  I know you prefer NON-yes/no type 
questions, but I sometimes prefer them for the sense of finality 
they can provide.
