That's not usually the explanation I look for! :-)

I just think there's so much more to Lupin and I still say it's an 
orb. I notice in OoP that Lupin's boggart still hasn't changed.

Harry's body vanished. A silvery orb hung in the air over the spot 
where it had lain. Lupin waved his wand once more and the orb
