As for becoming invisible without an invisibility cloak, we must 
remember this is Albus Dumbledore the most powerfull wizard in the 
world. The same rules that apply to most wizards don't apply to him. 
If the Fred and George can make hats that make your head vanish then 
wouldn't it be plausable for Dumbledore to be able to use a spell to 
make himself invisible? But I do agree being the most powerfull 
wizard in the world i think that he probally would be an Animagus 
considering that three students and hogwarts were able to manage it 
in only 5 years, and they were only 15 at the time.
