Talisman, wearing a FEATHERBOA, ready to tickle anything that comes
her way, observes:
No reason why a metaphor can't be played out in the plot.
There is always Harry's little observation that "Deliberately
causing mayhem in Snape's potions class was about as safe as poking
a sleeping dragon in the eye." (CoS 186)
Nice comparison, eh? Snape/sleeping dragon.
Snape rocks. Draco Malfoy is small change.
And, for those of the vampish inclination, "Dracul" also means
dragon, in Romanian.
Talisman, who, now that she thinks of it, wouldn't mind having a pet
dragon, either.
