Controling Peeves

Sarah:
PS/SS:  None of what Peeves does in this one rings a bell for me, but I
could be missing something.
CoS:  Peeves calls Myrtle over at the party and introduces her to to the
trio.
PoA:  Peeves sings a song about "Loony Lupin."  (Loony = lunacy =
intermittent insanity driven by phases of the moon.)
OotP:  Almost everything Peeves does seems concerned with ink.  Something to
do with Umbridge's quill?  I wondered if this is directing us to look more
closely at the quill, that it could have more dire results than just the
immediate.  Harry's attitude doesn't help him learn Occlumency, but can
carving "I must not tell lies" in his hand with a Dark object really be that
conducive either?

At one point Peeves is juggling bottles of ink.  He drops them and they
smash.  Like prophecies?
