What I meant, and didn't make clear, in my original post is 
that 'traditionally' the TWT takes place every five years, sort of 
like the Olympics. But the tournament had not been held for quite 
some time due to, I believe, elevated death counts. 
Meri - happy to be included in the dwarf names, but would really 
rather be Legolas' gorgeous elf-girlfriend
