I don't have my books with me, but I believe that we are told that 
Moody!Crouch transfigured his father's body into a bone and buried it 
near Hagrid's hut.  I also remember Moody!Crouch saying that his 
mother continued taking polyjuice potion and was buried still looking 
like him.  Father!Crouch faked his wife's death and that grave is 
empty.  I think burial is at least one of the accepted methods of 
disposing of a magical body.

Which begs the question, why hasn't Harry asked where his parents are 
buried?
