I agree that it doesn't need to be wands. I wonder after the
dementor scene in OOP whether Harry even needs a wand (Lumos!).
The love thing is definitely sappy and I don't usually go for that
either. I wonder, however, what will defeat LV who is pure, self-
indulgent evil. I think that DD's speech at the end of OOP was
giving us clues to that.
If the story continues as it has been, I'm thinking that in Book 6 LV
will attempt to get Harry to destroy himself by destroying the things
Harry holds dear. If he could see what losing Sirius did to Harry,
he will try to do more of the same.
