Now Christal:
     Maybe I am misunderstanding what it is you are trying to say 
here, but if you are saying the MoM did not clear Hagrid already, I 
have to disagree. The reasoning being that at the end of COS, Hagrid 
is released from Azkaban, and allowed to return to Hogwarts. The 
following year<POA> he is given a teaching position at Hogwarts. 
These events indicate, to me at least, that the MOM did in fact clear 
Hagrid's name.
