Thanks for your two knuts Fridwulfa. however I disagree. in the
introduction there are numerous references to what would classify as
a being, and goblins and are mentioned but I do not believe elves
are. thats an interesting fact too. house elves are not mentioned
throughout the book. since these two clearly understand wizarding
laws they should be classified as beings. not beasts. On further
thought this would explain why they are not mentioned. They are
beings. Not beasts.

PS also what would be an interesting creature of your imagination
that you would like to see in the Harry Potter universe?
