Elihu's answer:

We know that Fudge was in the law enforcement at the time; he might have been 
on first name terms with all the members of the order at the time.

About Flitwick and McGonagall, we know that all teachers, with the exceptions 
of Lockhart and Lupin, refer to Harry by last name; so even if MWPP were in 
Gryffindor (which I doubt), McGonagall probably would have refered to them by 
last name.
